Can't wait 'till Christmas

Here's my sweet "Little Brother" or "Goofy" as an appropriate nickname!! He's NOT goofing around here, he really wants to see what's inside the box and thinks maybe its something special for HIM !! So much to his surprise, he finds a bunch of abalone shells and can't decide whether to investigate further or call it a day.........in "dog" terms---->"this is a "bitch" of a day in the life of a dog. Well, guess it official, according to the investigating dog catcher....Little Brother is officially "OURS" !! The neighbor just couldn't care for him, and the "officer" almost had to take Little Brother to jail for getting into the neighbor's chicken house.....yikes!! He's adapting well to his many daily walks [he's wearing me out] and getting used to that nasty chain which keeps him out of trouble but gives him less freedom to roam around at will like he did for the last 6 months. The cats have taught him nearly everything he knows to date. More later................love to all, MOM

First Solid Food TODAY !!

Pictures not great, but wanted to make sure I made note of this day....actually they are exactly one month old today 10/13/06...the girls ate solid food....but our boy was quite hesitant. Suppose he will be taking small bites soon too. We are having lots of fun here...so glad to be able to share the growing little fur babies with you guys. Love ya'll, MOM

Here's the other girl.....just a tiny white spot on one paw...her front right one..see it?
And here's our fluffy boy....his fur is longer and fluffier than the girls...I think he's sticking out his tongue???
We are certainly loving watching them grow and develop....Momma still taking extra good care of them, especially when one of our other cats pokes their nose into what STAR thinks is "her" business, HER babies!! She can really spring into a "firey" rage when they get too close in her estimation! 

Kittens Really Starting to PLAY

A little hard to tell from pics, but I think this is one of the little girls, 4 white paws....really starting to play. They ALL are! Growing fast and getting quite active! LOVE the pic of her next to the hard drive....adorable eh?

Kittens Play with Each Other

Day 20, Kittens are beginning to PLAY with each other. Small squeals can be heard if one gets a little rough. We have layed a wolf hide near them as seen in picture to the left...so that when Mom's away they still have fur around, LOL

Dustin and Kelly

Dustin and his band play awesome Country Music for most of the weekend. We enjoyed it very muchl! I love this picture 

Tootsies !!

Kelly and I spent alot of time here. Fabulous music, friendly people and yes its very crowded ALL the time. This is the place where up and coming Country Music stars get their start. Many familiar stars do drop in there from time to time. 

Pictures taken 9/30/06, makes the kittens 17 days old now. Eyes wide open, even ears open now. They walk all around by themselves now....and Momma "Star" wishes they'd stay where she put them!! LOL This is one of the girls. Largest of the litter and the only one with 4 white paws. She's very active and alert!

This is our one boy. He's darker in color than the two girls seen in the next picture. They all have bluish eyes at this point, don't know what color they'll turn out to be, Momma has brownish golden eyes.
The two girls....almost look like twins but one doesn't have 4 white paws, nice to be able to tell them apart.

We're having so much fun with them. Won't be long before they will want to try some soft solid food and run around the kitchen and get under foot. Star keep her eyes on them, but is going outside occasionally now for a much needed break from the demands of Motherhood, LOL. More pics to come.
